This Privacy Policy explains how the Not Too Young website ("we", "us", "our"), a podcast project by Adwita Pidugu, collects, uses, and protects information when you visit not-tooyoung.com (the "Site") or sign up for launch updates.

A note for kids and parents: Not Too Young is made for a young audience. If you are a child, please ask a parent or guardian before entering any personal information such as your name, email address, or age. Parents and guardians can contact us at any time to review or delete a child's information.

1. Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us. When you use the "Subscribe" / "Get Notified" form, we collect:

Age (optional)

Our hosting and infrastructure providers may also automatically collect limited technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and access times) in standard server logs for security and reliability. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not set our own cookies.

2. How we use your information

To notify you when the Not Too Young podcast launches and to share occasional related updates.
To respond to messages you send us.
To keep the Site secure and working properly.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we will not use it for unrelated purposes without your consent.

3. Service providers

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to run the Site. They process data only as needed to provide their service:

FormSubmit — processes subscribe-form submissions and forwards them to us by email. See formsubmit.co for their privacy practices.
GitHub Pages — hosts the Site.
Cloudflare — provides DNS and network delivery for our domain.
Google Fonts — serves the fonts used on the Site, which may involve your browser requesting font files from Google.

4. Legal basis and consent

We process your information based on the consent you give when you submit the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by asking us to remove your details (see "Your rights" below).

5. Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate parental or guardian involvement. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without such consent, please contact us and we will delete it promptly. Depending on where you live, laws such as the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) or the EU/UK GDPR provisions for children may apply, and we aim to honor those protections.

6. Data retention

We keep subscribe-list information only for as long as needed to send you launch and update messages, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.

7. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you. To do so, email us at the address below and we will act on your request within a reasonable time. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable data-protection laws.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may be highlighted on the Site.
